The winter transfer market is always a time of intense rumour and potential major deals. Numerous high-profile players find themselves linked with transfers out of their current teams. We examine some of the key figures that might be on the move this month.

A. Semenyo

After impressing at the Under-19 European Championship, he has become a regular in the AZ Alkmaar side. This teenager is heavily expected to make a big-money transfer in January. Newcastle reportedly are frontrunners, but could face stiff competition from Real Madrid for a signing priced at around £22 million.
